The last 48hrs has been me preparing for eggies!
BEHOLD! the button maker thingy me jig!
This is a wondeful idea that i came across on a UK crested gecko FB page. Jennie from JPS reptiles inspired me to play copy cat with this hobby craft box! At only £3.99 from the range, with removable dividers and lockable lid, it would of been rude not too! Each section will have one egg and is filled half way with perlite...for me this is perfect! The lid will need to be opened every few days to allow for air circulation and this will be my first time using perlite. :)

Mum to be has steadily been getting to waddle size, weighing in at 51g only two days ago (this is a 10g improvement on weight prior laying last year when she was purchased gravid at Kempton). Though has been off her food and spending a lot of time digging the last 3 days!
Less that 48hrs after getting the box ready....i woke up to a very slender Kyoko and Two lovely, pearly white eggs!! The shell's looking MUCH better then the unexpected eggs of last year. These are my first planned Clutch with crestie's and i'm over the moon at how healthy they look!
Mum is doing great and back to her pre-mating weight of 46g and hopefully will be eating well tonight!! Kyoko (Tiger) was paired with Sousuke (Super Dal) this year and eggs will be getting candled next weekend to check for fertility :)
**Happy Dance!!**
